Calculator update: Select two parents to calculate their child.
For each pair, a game-recorded special pair is checked first. If no unambiguous special result applies, the calculator uses the average of both parents' breeding power and selects the nearest eligible child value.
Fixed combinations in the published game data take precedence over the ordinary calculation. When one pair has multiple special children that require extra information, the tool does not guess.
For ordinary pairs, the tool averages both parents' breeding power and finds the nearest child value among Pals that have breeding power and are not excluded from breeding.
Equal distances use duplicate priority and then a stable ID order. Wixen and Katress need parent genders for their special children; because this tool does not collect gender, it returns no unverified guess.
The picker contains 288 published Pal records; 260 are eligible for ordinary breeding. Records excluded by the game data or missing breeding power remain browsable in the Paldex but cannot produce an ordinary result.
The 185 fixed special breeding combos recorded in the Palworld 1.0 game data. Only these parent pairs produce the listed special Pal; every other pairing follows ordinary breeding rules.

Special combinations come directly from the released game data. Other results are calculated deterministically from both parents' breeding power, the nearest eligible child value, duplicate priority, and stable tie-breaking.
The picker includes all 288 published Pal records, including subspecies. 260 of them have a breeding power and are not marked to be ignored by the game data.
A result is unavailable when a parent is excluded from breeding, has no breeding power, points to missing released data, or when game-recorded special rules need information the calculator does not collect.
Ordinary breeding and most special combinations are order-independent. Wixen and Katress are the exception in this release because their two special children depend on the parents' genders; without gender input, the calculator returns no guessed child.
